GNSS-Based Parameter Estimation

This chapter introduces and highlights the foundational elements of GNSS-based parameter estimation. We start off by reviewing the concept of geodetic parameters for which precise GNSS-based measurements are applicable. Without being too detailed, the chapter is focused on parameter estimation theory including the topics of least squares estimation, parameter pre-elimination, sequential least squares, and parameter constraints. All topics are concisely presented for brevity and relevance, with adequate references for further reading if necessary.
