摘要

The current study investigates the effect of an augmented reality application on students’ learning. The experiment involved enhancing our course on human breathing. This approach enables the use of smartphones to deliver pertinent information, enhancing course accessibility and interactivity. To evaluate the impact of this technology, we employed a quasi-experimental design, assessing learners’ acquisition of scientific knowledge with both an experimental group (12 students) and a control group (12 students). Additionally, we administered a 7-item questionnaire aimed at gauging the depth of their understanding. The findings suggest that the use of augmented reality application improves students learning of the human. Consequently, the study recommends its integration into other sciences courses particularly those addressing abstract concepts.
