Potential Impact of 6G on the Moroccan Economy

In the era of globalization, information and communication technologies are developing more and more quickly to meet the growing demand for information from different public and private actors. 6G, by offering even higher data speeds and lower latency, could facilitate the development of new applications and services, thereby supporting the global economy. 6G could open up new industries and business opportunities, including artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things, autonomous vehicles, telemedicine and other advanced applications that rely on connectivity ultra-fast and reliable. Businesses and governments will need to adapt to 6G by investing in compatible infrastructure and technologies. This could accelerate digital transformation globally, with impacts on productivity, efficiency and competitiveness. Morocco as an emerging country is not the exception. The introduction of 6G in the Moroccan context will certainly have economic impacts that we will try to develop in this work.
