Towards a Domain Model for Code Generation for Smart Tourism Destinations Using MDE

With continuous technological advancement, the tourism sector has evolved to become one of the world’s most important sectors. We present in this work a model-based approach to developing the tourism sector based on “chat-bots” for smart tourism destinations using Model-driven engineering (MDE), an approach designed to abstract and automate the development process based on models and transformations as the main elements. This paper presents the fundamentals of the proposed methodology based on an MDE in smart tourism. Our main contribution in this paper is to propose a model for smart tourist destinations using the MDE.
