National and International Governmental Policy Issues PNT Frequencies, Overlap, and Spectrum Issues
摘要
This chapter will present an overview of the various complex and interrelated national and international governmental policy issues relating to PNT systems and their applications. Legal, frequency, spectrum, and policy issues are vital aspects of PNT. National issues are presented for each of the providers, and this is followed by a look at the international context, including the UN International Committee on GNSS (ICG). This is followed by consideration of various issues including jamming, spoofing, and denial of service attacks, potential cosmic hazards, and the chapter concludes with questions regarding the legal, ethical, and moral issues involving the use of PNT systems.
