摘要
Entrepreneurial orientation (EO) is a specific mindset of an entrepreneurial company, which has effect on both strategic processes and performance of company, and it is considered as a response to future market needs for achieving competitive advantages. Thus, it is important to understand the factors which have impact on project success. Therefore, the aim of this study is to develop and test a model in order to investigate the overall relationship between entrepreneurial orientation and project success by the moderating and mediating role of marketing orientation (MO) which will help in identifying the relationship between entrepreneurship (E) and project management (PM). This is quantitative research in which survey method has been used in the form of questionnaire to collect data from practitioners which includes Directors, Project managers, Project engineers, Analysts and Coordinators while the collected data was later treated through structural equation modeling. Hence, results showed that there is a positive relation between EO and project success however, marketing orientation successfully moderates this relation which shows that both EO and MO can positively contribute to success of projects and could have a particular relevance in renewable energy sector like other relevant sectors such as construction, service, and Information Technology (IT). Moreover, this study will contribute towards achieving a 2030 United Nations’ goal of tackling climate change by significant reduction in Green House Gases (GHG).
