I outline Kant’s metaphysics and epistemology, historical interpretations of Kant and the 1870 to 1920 neo-Kantian movement. I outline how we can see science as being objective even though all knowledge is conditioned by something we apply to the world. I outline two steps to formulating scientific knowledge: bringing data under concepts and systematising. I compare my position to scientific realism, anti-realism, constructivism and critical realism.
