Morocco has experienced significant economic growth and transformation in recent years, positioning itself as an attractive destination for foreign investments and international trade. This paper explores the pivotal role of e-services and e-administration in facilitating and promoting importation and foreign investments in the Moroccan context. The adoption of digital technologies and e-government initiatives has streamlined bureaucratic processes, improved transparency, and enhanced the overall business environment, which, in turn, has fostered a conducive atmosphere for foreign investors and importers. This study delves into the key aspects of Morocco’s digital transformation, focusing on the development of e-services and e-administration tools, their impact on importation procedures, and their influence on foreign investments. It also examines the various government-led initiatives and policies aimed at modernizing administrative processes, such as the Single Window for Foreign Trade, and the Digital Morocco 2020 strategy. The findings of this research indicate that the implementation of e-services and e-administration tools has significantly reduced administrative burdens for importers, resulting in shorter lead times, cost savings, and increased efficiency. In addition, the transparency and accountability facilitated by digital systems have improved Morocco’s global ranking in terms of ease of doing business, making the country more appealing to foreign investors. Moreover, this paper discusses how the government’s commitment to digitalization and e-administration has created an environment of trust, attracting foreign investors seeking stable and secure business environments. This trust is further bolstered by initiatives that promote skills development, cybersecurity, and data protection.
