Factors Influencing Electronic Medical Record Success in Moroccan Hospital Settings
摘要
Evaluating health information systems, particularly electronic medical records (EMRs), poses significant challenges, yet it is essential, especially in developing countries. This study aims to examine the key factors influencing the successful adoption of EMRs in Moroccan university hospitals. The research integrates the Information System Success Model and the Technology-Organization-Environment framework for a comprehensive understanding of this issue. Data were gathered from a sample of 164 participants through a questionnaire. The results highlight user satisfaction, information quality, organizational aspects, and environmental context as the most crucial factors. Furthermore, among the proposed dimensions, the human dimension emerges as the most significant, followed by organizational, technological, and environmental factors. This work identifies essential determinants for managers to consider when deciding on EMR implementation, providing a valuable reference for future research in this field.
