Greater Resistencia
摘要
The chapter provides a detailed analysis of the metropolitan area of the Great Resistencia, highlighting its disordered urban growth, its economic and educational functions, as well as its social and environmental vulnerability. Variables such as education, health, housing, and the environment are analyzed, which makes it possible to identify areas with favorable situations and challenges to be addressed to improve the quality of life in the region. The AMGR shows a center-periphery pattern in which the border area shows the most critical or unfavorable situations, that is, the lowest QLI category between a score of 0 and 6.32. The most consolidated areas of the municipalities of Resistencia and Puerto Barranqueras are those that present the best situations with QLI values equal to and higher than a score of 7.67.
