The previous part introduced the logarithmic norm. Defining all legitimate operations that can be carried out with the logarithmic norm, the elementary properties of the upper as well as the lower logarithmic norm were collected. With the exception of the exponential function and differential inequalities, no particular application or more general matrix functions were considered.
