The dynamic nature of disruptive technologies such as the Internet of Things (IoT) and robotics, among others, have contributed significantly to waste management and the promotion of sustainable agricultural practices. The introduction highlights the significance of achieving sustainability in the agricultural industry and provides a framework for exploring novel solutions. The study examines the basics of IoT, explaining its use in agriculture and emphasizing its capacity to enhance resource efficiency and improve overall farm productivity. Moreover, it shifts to advanced waste management systems designed for agriculture, highlighting their various uses and illustrating how these advancements greatly contribute to environmental sustainability and improved farming methods. In addition to IoT, the chapter explores several disruptive technologies like artificial intelligence and robots, offering insights into their revolutionary impact on agriculture and their potential to reform sustainable practices.
