Chronic stress poses a significant challenge in modern society, particularly among the working population, leading to various psychological and physiological health issues. Effective management of stress is crucial for maintaining overall well-being. Biometric feedback systems, which measure stress-related indicators and provide feedback to users, have garnered attention for their potential in facilitating self-analysis and stress management. However, existing systems primarily rely on visual modalities, and there is a dearth of physicalized data representation for stress-related indicators. To address this gap, we propose StressFlow, a desktop device designed for physical visualization of stress data. StressFlow translates abstract stress data into tangible forms, enabling users to intuitively perceive and manage their stress levels. The user study results show that the effectiveness of StressFlow in aiding stress management among office workers. Our findings underscore the significance of physicalized stress data visualization in promoting well-being in high-pressure work environments.

摘要
