Practices and Reflections
摘要
Teachers must keep improving their expertise, reflect on their instructional experiences, and promote lifelong learning to succeed in teaching. This aligns with the students’ challenges as they are engaged in many literacy and media-related activities. Therefore, teachers must offer different learning activities that enable students to develop critical, analytical, and creative thinking. These activities foster students’ media literacy in dynamic learning settings. Furthermore, these learning activities require assessment that can measure students’ learning outcomes in CML integration to EFL classes. The assessment evaluates content comprehension, language proficiency, critical thinking, digital literacy, collaboration, media production, ethical reasoning, and sociocultural awareness. These assessments prepare students for real-life communication and boost engagement in media-rich settings, equipping them with important skills for navigating digital and cultural landscapes effectively.
