摘要

EFL learning has to incorporate CML to enhance students’ language learning and develop their critical and analytical thinking, cultural awareness, and active involvement in this contemporary world. This approach integrates theoretical foundations and tailored instructional resources, emphasizing media comprehension and production. Students participate in analytical skill-building exercises, such as analyzing bias and assessing reliable sources of information. Teachers could enable students to effectively navigate and engage in the digital ecosystem by cultivating a critical approach toward media. This student-centered approach enhances language learning and prepares students to be involved thoughtfully in a globalized society, endorsing social responsiveness and cultural understanding. By incorporating CML, EFL teaching advances to prepare students with essential skills for meaningful communication and active contribution in today’s interconnected world.
