Are Readmission and Return Unpacked?
摘要
The final chapter concludes the book with a summary of the results and an appreciation of the contribution to further our understanding of EU readmission and return policy. Critical reflections on the research process and the limitations of the results are discussed. A new EU approach that acknowledges the needs of non-EU countries and migrants might be more mutually beneficial. The question is answered whether the field of EU readmission and return has been unpacked. Avenues for further research, such as quantitative analyses of bilateral return cooperation or process-tracing can add further to this contentious field.
