The Basics of Apheresis
摘要
Apheresis is a method of obtaining one or more blood components by machine processing of whole blood in which the residual components of the blood are returned to the donor or patient during or at the end of the process. Specific machines using various separation techniques are available for this process. All machines have features that make the apheresis procedure safe in donors and patients. Based on the blood component needed to be collected/removed, a specific one-time-use disposable can be applied.
