Vaccination Is a Public Strategy Not a Personal One: Rebuilding Community
摘要
Vaccination hesitancy is a critical community issue we must address. Vaccinations are essential for creating a safer environment during a pandemic. While some individuals cannot be vaccinated for medical reasons, others choose not to for religious reasons. It’s crucial to understand that getting vaccinated not only protects ourselves but also those who are unable to get vaccinated. Unfortunately, some individuals opt out of vaccination for selfish reasons. One of the main factors behind this behavior is the decline of community values. We must make decisions that consider the well-being of the entire community, not just our own. In the following discussions, we will delve into the reasons behind this behavior and propose strategies for rebuilding a sense of community. It’s imperative to recognize the potential impact on others when facing future pandemics.
