For decades, as the world has become more global, air traffic has experienced growth as it is a global industry. In spite of that, aviation has suffered the effects of every recession that occurred in the past. In particular, the latest recession was caused by COVID-19 in 2020. Once the pandemic was over, the growth was expected to continue during the following years and, as air transport plays a key role within transport networks, both current and future requirements of all agents involved must be accomplished.
