Nerve injuries are graded to neurapraxia, axonotmesis, and neurotmesis from mild to severe. Sharp injuries (knife) should be repaired immediately. Blunt injuries could be observed initially for 3 months to monitor for spontaneous recovery. Repairs include direct repair, autograft, allograft, nerve transfers, and tube repair.
