Albrecht, Rosemarie (1915–2008)

Rosemarie Albrecht was born in Japan and studied medicine in Germany. In the early 1940s, she worked at a hospital in Stadtroda, where she is alleged to have murdered disabled children. After the war, her case was investigated. On the instructions of the Ministry in East Berlin her case was closed and the investigation files were blocked. Albrecht made a career as a top professor in the German Democratic Republic.
