Wetzel, Ingeborg (1912–1989)

Ingeborg Wetzel studied medicine and joined the ‘Kinderkrankenhaus Rothenburgsort’ in 1941. There she murdered at least 6 of her patients. After the war, she was acquitted for her actions by the judge, Walter Tyrolf, whom she later married. She was then free to continue practicing medicine, but retired early in 1964.
