摘要

Hildegard Wesse graduated in medicine in 1937. She met her future husband, Hermann Wesse, in 1938. In 1941, she was appointed at the Waldniel institution, where, in 1942/43, around 100 children were killed either by administering Luminal or by starvation. She later worked at the Uchtspringe State Sanatorium. After the war, Hildegard Wesse admitted that she had killed at least 60 children. She was sentenced to two years imprisonment. Thereafter, she was able to work again as a doctor.
