摘要

Barbara Uiberrak studied medicine and specialized as a pathologist in Vienna. She joined the Nazi party in 1933 while it was still illegal in Austria to do so. As part of ‘Aktion T4’, she prepared 781 brains of murdered patients from the Steinhof/Spiegelgrund. She was also involved in tuberculosis vaccination experiments in which paediatric patients were murdered. After the war, her case was investigated, but she was never charged. She was thus able to continue in her profession and even advanced to the position of director of the pathology department in the Steinhof hospital.
