Schnizer Von, Elsbeth (1900–1998)

Elsbeth von Schnizer studied dentistry and graduated in 1924. In 1933, she joined the Nazi party. In 1940, she was appointed associate professor of dentistry in Heidelberg. Von Schnizer used her influence to promote the Nazi ideology where she could. After the war, von Schnizer was suspended from her university post and banned from practicing dentistry. In 1948, she was allowed to resume her work as a specialist dentist in Heidelberg, where she remained until her retirement in 1978.
