Hecker, Elisabeth (1895–1986)

Elisabeth HeckerElisabeth Hecker graduated in medicine in 1920 and then specialized in paediatrics. After several appointments in junior positions, she took a job at the Loben State Hospital for Adolescent Psychiatry, where she selected patients according to their social usefulness either to be educated or to be murdered. Hecker was never charged and went on to become a decorated psychiatrist in post-war Germany.
