Revolutionizing Finance: Assessing the Dynamic Impact of FinTech Apps on Banking Performance in the Jordanian Financial Landscape

As the financial landscape in Jordan undergoes dynamic changes, the integration of FinTech applications within the banking sector has emerged as a transformative force. This research explores the impact of FinTech apps on banking performance in Jordan. The study employs a quantitative method approach through surveys emphasizing banks’ customers. Convenience sampling was conducted by distributing the research instrument to 322 customers with a respondent rate of 72.3%. Structural equation modeling (SEM) was performed in data analysis and testing hypotheses. The research results revealed a positive significant impact of FinTech apps on banking performance in Jordan. The findings of this research contributed to the existing literature on FinTech adoption in emerging markets and provided actionable insights for banks, policymakers, and FinTech developers seeking to optimize the positive impact of these applications on banking performance in Jordan. Additionally, it is suggested to address emerging technologies, changing customer behaviours, and evolving regulatory landscapes, ensuring that FinTech applications remain relevant and continue to positively impact banking performance over the coming years.
