The aim of this study is to clarify the contested concept of environment, which includes: (a) the state of environmental pollution and (b) the serious or serious negative impact it has on people and ecosystems. This would ensure that all living beings have the right to enjoy a pristine and pollution-free environment. The study attempted to unravel, in excruciating detail, the intricate relationship between environmental degradation, human health and biodiversity. It recognizes that all living beings have a fundamental and inherent right to inhabit and live in an environment free from the ill effects of pollution. The research will also examine the grounds for attributing international responsibility to culpable actions or behavior leading to pollution. A principles-oriented study of the ethics and legal regimes of international environmental law would enable the scholar to isolate the duties, responsibilities, and responsibilities of nations and other actors for downstream, cross-border, upstream, and cross-border actions, behaviors, and practices, and decisions that cause or contribute to pollution. In particular, the scholar will analyze, research, interpret and evaluate, using insightful analytical tools, international agreements and conventions—within the framework of international environmental law—that determine progress in international cooperation and the international legal architecture for the environment.
