MW Coaxial Reactors: Scaling Up and Down

  • Guennadi A. Kouzaev

摘要

This Chapter considers the design ideas and scaling up and down of coaxial reactors. The length of reactors is extended in glass-metal coaxial waveguides, where the EM field does not decrease fast from the source. More homogeneous cross-sectional field distribution is reached by the multi-wire design of the central conductor. Liquid mixing can be reached mechanically or by applying ultrasound agitation to the coaxial reactor contents. Scaling down the coaxial reactor to the nano size can complicate the molecular motion, and even the self-stochastic regime of molecular dipoles can lead to additional heating. Essential nonhomogeneous distribution of the electric field and its intensity strength led to radial motion towards and outwards of the central conduct. 80 references are given to readers. Six figures are included in the text.
