Waveguides for Terahertz Frequencies

This Chapter presents an analytical review of waveguides for terahertz frequency range applications. Among them are the parallel plate, micromachined coaxial, and hollow waveguides. Attention is paid to different modifications of substrate-integrated waveguides and dielectric guiding structures. The analyzed components are distinguished by minimized loss and dispersion of their propagation parameters. There are 13 figures, one table, and 118 references.
