From Video Games to Heritage Education: Ludodidactics Applied to Educational Design
摘要
The paper focuses on the Ludo Didactics approach, which is inspired by game design, in order to design a training session for museum educators in a hybrid form. How can games help in the museum learning design? Can the game’s structure help in designing more involving museum activities for different kinds of audiences? The paper explores a transformative approach to game as a starting point of the educational design, focusing in particular on the museum professional competences of Italian museum educators. Additionally, the presented training seeks to instigate a reflection on the profile of competences of museum educators in Italy. This reflective process extends to both individual and small-group levels, fostering contemplation on one's work at both the individual and small group levels, as well as within the AIEM community of practices.
