Religion and Political Thinking in Hungary
摘要
Christian and Jewish political thinking has had an enormous influence on both Western and Eastern political ideas. Given their coherence, expressed in various creeds and/or theological conceptions, one may wonder whether or in any meaningful sense they could be discussed in terms of ideology. There are several reasons for not doing so, out of which two are especially decisive. First, it belongs to the intellectual pillars of both Christianity and Judaism that they demarcate themselves from other forms of thinking, including philosophy, science, and politics.
