Hematomas of Peripheral Nerves—Sources and Sequelae

Nerve hematomas are frequently the result of the traumatic thin-walled epineural veins rupture. They can reach large dimensions and can fill part of all “nerve sleeve” spaces and be associated with the impairment of the nerve motor and sensory functions.
