摘要

For the human body, natural variability is in the form, structure, and position. From this point of view, the variations or major or minor anomalies are distinguished. The incidence of the latter ranges up to 41%, and the presence of several of them can indicate also the presence of a major anomaly. The history of the human body’s variability observations reaches the history of the period of Galen or Vesalius. Nowadays, modern medicine needs more accurate knowledge regarding the variabilities of human body structures to better adjust the diagnostics and treatment. Many variations and anomalies were also reported in the PNS, and they disturb the traditional segmental organization of dermatomes and myotomes.
