Miscellaneous Masses of Head and Neck and Other Body Sites

This chapter is divided into three sections and covers lesions that can be sampled by ultrasound (US)-guided FNA except for primary lesions of the thyroid, salivary glands, and lymph nodes. The first section divides the neck into regions and covers lesions that commonly occur in these regions. The second section covers lesions that occur in the skin and scalp, and the third section covers common and uncommon lesions of the head and neck and other body sites. Cytologic, ultrasound, and immunohistochemistry features are described. Video clips, and numerous cytology and US figures complement the text.
