This chapter explores the integration of digital twin networks into the landscape of wireless communication systems, particularly in the context of sixth-generation (6G) wireless networks. The rapid advancements in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and high-performance computing have paved the way for leveraging digital twins as powerful tools for designing, analyzing, and operating wireless networks. Digital twins, as virtual replicas of physical entities, offer real-time monitoring, simulation, analysis, optimization, and prediction capabilities for various applications in smart cities, manufacturing, retail, and beyond.
