Having built a complete process simulation model in Chap. 2, one is ready to consider more sophisticated modeling techniques. In Chap. 3 we introduce a new scenario that allows us to study capacity decisions using a flexible workforce that faces multiple types of flow units. After building a new model and KPI dashboard, a 10-round game is introduced. It also gives us the opportunity to gain further practice with optimization experiments (for input parameter optimization) and parameter variation experiments.
