Understanding Intention to Use Shopee Paylater: The Influence of Financial Literacy, Perceived Ease of Use, Perceived Benefits, and Perceived Risks

This research investigates the students who are currently enrolled in the Faculty of Economics & Business at Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta and examine the influence of financial literacy, perceived ease of use, perceived benefits, and perceived risk on the desire to utilize Shopee Paylater among them. The sample used was 291 respondents who were selected using non-probability sampling techniques. The non-probability technique used is purposive sampling, the analytical tool used in SEM SmartPLS3 research. The measurement scale uses a Likert scale of 1–7. The study findings indicate that there is a notable correlation between financial literacy and the intention to use Shopee Paylater. Furthermore, the intention to utilize Shopee Paylater is significantly positively influenced by the perceived ease of use, perceived benefit, and perceived risk.
