摘要

Numerous investigations into how gendered dynamics within organizations affect women’s leadership prospects have predominantly examined the Omani setting. This research delves into how workplace gender bias obstructs women’s ascent to leadership roles within Oman’s public sector, effectively highlighting the glass-ceiling phenomenon. Researchers used Random Sampling, to minimize bias in the selection of participants and provide a reliable basis for female personnel employed in the public sector of Oman, with 260 out of 350 replies. This study seeks to garner insights into their views, attitudes, and firsthand experiences concerning support for women’s careers, preferences for leaders, and the challenges of balancing work and family life.
