This transformation is expected to yield increased production, efficient use of inputs, and environmental sustainability. Transformations or shifts in agribusiness and addressing global issues are possible when smart farming is aligned with or aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This alignment is crucial because smart farming encourages technological innovation, facilitates the adoption of sustainable agricultural practices, and aids in the shift toward more environmentally friendly and efficient food production systems.
