A Concluding Chapter Which Attempts to Set the Development of the Future Agenda for Practice, Service Organisation and Research

This final chapter is where the status of probationer mental health in Europe is assessed. Aspects of service organisation and good practice, to date, are presented. Chapters 1 – 5 provide much of the material for this assessment; however, more detailed case studies, on a country-by-country basis, are also offered. Some general principles for the delivery of improved mental health in probation are outlined.
