The Conclusions and Council of Europe Recommendations on Improving Work with People with a Mental Illness in Probation
摘要
The Council of Europe, under the auspices of its Council for Penological Cooperation, produced a White Paper on the management of persons with mental health disorders in either a prison or probation setting. In order to inform the work of the council, a survey of prison and probation services was undertaken across all European countries which obtained a 66% response rate. The findings of the survey reported here are example of good practice and the final recommendations from the Council of Europe’s White Paper.
