The Impact of Disputes and Mandatory Law Application on Investment in Jordanian Law
摘要
The focus of this study is to examine the impact of the Act on the Promotion of Investments in the Study Area on foreign investments in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. Through a descriptive approach, the study delves into three main areas: procedural and administrative facilitations, the prohibition of expropriation, and the security risks associated with foreign investments. To gain insights and analyze the current state of these administrative facilitations, data is collected from the Ministry of Industry, Trade, and Supply, as well as through in-depth interviews and focus group discussions with foreign investors, legal experts, and businessmen. The ultimate goal is to provide actionable recommendations to policymakers and stakeholders to enhance these facilitations and maintain Jordan's appeal as a favorable destination for investment, economic growth, and job creation.
