Embryo Freezing (Cryopreservation) Contract: A Comparative Study

This research delves into a contentious and cutting-edge subject that lacks any specific legal frameworks, despite the widespread utilization of this particular contract among individuals. The freezing contract does not fall into any of the categories of contracts outlined in Jordanian laws; instead, it is a contemporary contract designed to align with advancements in science and medicine. Its importance stems from its novelty and direct influence on ancestral lines. After careful analysis and discussion, we have come to a number of important conclusions. Among these, the most significant finding is that the freezing contract possesses unique characteristics that set it apart from other contractual agreements. Consequently, we strongly advise the Jordanian legislator to establish clear regulations for this particular type of contract in order to prevent any potential confusion or complications regarding inheritance.
