The Future of Online Retail to Omnichannel Commerce in E-commerce Evolution
摘要
Online shopping is having an increasing effect on the future of retail since the industry as an entirety is always evolving. Multichannel and omnichannel strategies have become a critical aspect of retailing. Omnichannel e-commerce is a retail strategy that provides customers with seamless shopping experiences across multiple online channels. To make shopping as simple and convenient as possible, it integrates all of the channels that are now accessible, including online shops, marketplaces, websites, mobile applications, social media, and even phone and email. Because e-commerce has become more popular and plays a key part in sales and distribution strategies, it is necessary for companies to successfully manage e-commerce and integrate it with other online and offline channels. Using the Genetic Algorithm-based Multi-Objective Decision Making Framework (GA-MODM), this research investigates growing trends of e-commerce that are reshaping the retail business and transforming the shopping experience for customers. For e-commerce order grouping and product suggestion, the decision support system has included a genetic algorithm. All goods and sub-products are dynamically sequenced in the second stage, which uses a genetic algorithm to decrease the storage space used. By analyzing the present state of the sector, its advances in technology, and the behaviours of consumers, it highlights significant trends such as omnichannel retailing, social commerce, mobile commerce, and tailored shopping experiences. Monitoring these developments and determining what they signify for the industry allows retailers to adjust their strategy and meet the needs of contemporary digital consumers.
