摘要

This study aims to explore the impact of strategic leadership on faculty and staff engagement in private universities in Jordan. An empirical analysis was carried out to understand how the leadership styles, vision, and strategic direction identified by university leaders influence the level of job engagement. The research was carried out in a quantitative manner through structured surveys that included 273 faculty members at private universities across Jordan. SEM analysis was used to explore the direct and indirect effects of strategic leadership on job engagement. The results showed a positive effect of strategic leadership on job engagement in private universities in Jordan. The contribution of this study is to examine the empirical relationship between strategic leadership and job engagement in the context of private universities in Jordan. The findings also provide practical insights for university leaders and administrators seeking to improve the work environment and employee satisfaction and maintain institutional effectiveness and success.
