The Impact of Talent Management on Employees’ Performance of Information Technology at Small and Medium Enterprises for Information Communication and Technology (ICT) Companies in Jordan

This research was aimed at finding the impact of talent management on employee performance of Information Technology in Jordanian Communications and Information Technology (ICT) companies. The sample included 1,058 companies working in this sector. Out of these firms, 98% are comprised of medium and small enterprises that are formally registered with the Ministry of Digital Communications and the ICT Association. These firms together employ 544 managers, all of whom were responsible for data gathering. According to the findings of the research, talent management has a significant impact in enhancing the job performance of employees in telecommunications and information technology companies, as indicated by their managers. The research suggested that telecoms and information technology organizations should priorities the implementation of talent management strategies and give them more attention. Furthermore, there is a need to increase control of recruiting platforms in order to discover the highly competent persons required by these companies, and to promote a greater interest in putting intelligence individuals in management positions.
