Bridging the Gap Between Cybersecurity Policies and Multilingual Workforce Training
摘要
The intersection between corporate hierarchy, multilingual policy enforcement, and cybersecurity imposes a link that requires further investigation. This project combines research and practice to provide empirical evidence for the translation and implementation of language-specific cybersecurity policies in transnational workplaces. These case studies aim to identify barriers and provide best practices for creating an inclusive culture that embeds cybersecurity awareness among multilingual employees. Training will be a key part of the strategy to integrate multilingual employees into the company’s cybersecurity strategy, working within language-specific frameworks and organizational practices. A lack of commitment to cybersecurity measures and ineffective implementation of policies make it difficult to create an inclusive culture. Comprehensive solutions must follow a cultural-linguistic approach to policy and training activities. Finally, given the high cost of cyberattacks on corporate assets and the potential for coercive behavior, the urgency of investing in employee training and IT security is now more evident than ever. Future research will develop targeted interventions to improve cybersecurity implementation for a diverse workforce, while considering specific approaches relevant to industry or region.
