Exploring the Power Play of Anthropology in Contemporary Societies

This investigation explores the complexity of the intersection of anthropology and social systems and demonstrates the value of this association and a qualitative methodology in order to understand the intricacies of this intersection. Based on the assumption that anthropology has a significant role in creating just and equitable social systems, this investigation focuses on describing the anthropologist's participation in social decision making, including the cultural context in which they are situated, their advocacy to the government and policy makers, and the methods they use to develop policies. Ethnographic research is one of the primary methodologies employed, this method necessitates a specific amount of time in a specific social context that includes both lived experiences and recorded facts. Comparative research in culture and multiple cultures that are different enhances the analysis by providing a variety of perspectives and multiple perspectives. The investigation also focuses on the significance of ethics in balancing the power dynamics and reducing the potential for social bias in anthropological research. Thematic analysis is employed for the analysis of the data and the drawing of conclusions after patterns have been recognized from the qualitative data. This research increases the body of literature on the importance of anthropology in the creation of more equitable social systems and why it's important when working with communities. The investigation demonstrates the value of anthropology in providing complex perspectives on policy development that consider the complexity of culture and ethics.
