The Potential to Achieve

This chapter concludes the book with the discussion of the potential for White prospective teachers to become the fulcrum providing leverage for communities to transform their schools. We begin with two cases of prospective teachers of color, demonstrating how they were able to make use of an assets-based habit of mind and a decriminalizing pattern of acting, then conclude by reimagining a key case from Chaps. 4 and 5 using habits of mind and patterns of acting learned from the two prospective teachers of color.
